Question: How much is it to advertise in the yellow pages?

The Yellow Pages is a waste of money. No one looks in those books. They go online and they respond to their mailbox. If they look for you in the YP they are going to see all your competitors, so that is the last place you want them to go.... you need to get your name in their minds BEFORE they go looking for you. You could send out 1000 post cards per month for $400 or less. ...and at 2% to 5% response thats 240 to 600 new customers in a year. I've never had a client...EVER have more than 25 clients from the yellow pages....and YP ads typically cost $350 to $2500 per month. YP salepeople are slick talkers and most of their data is false. It doesn't matter how many books are out there in circulation....the important thing is....all of those books are closed....and they remain closed 99% of the time ( that is a real statistic)

It is basically depends on the website. Some free and some costs you.
