Question: Need help with wording for marketing purposes?
(Posted by: Valerie Rath on 2010-07-28 11:39:55)
For the last few months I've been doing some freelance administrative work locally. Now I want to offer my freelance services online at Elance, oDesk, and Guru. Right now I'm updating and rewording my profile that I have on Elance. Could you please take a look at my Elance profile and tell me if my Profile sounds good? To view my profile please go to: http:/ / vlrath.elance.com Also I decided to name my freelance business Simplified Services and my tagline is "Offering you services to make your business simple " Does that sound like a good tagline or should I use something different? Does anyone have any suggestions for a tagline? Please tell me if my profile sounds good? Is there any wording or tips you have that could make it sound any better? I'm just looking for suggestions. Right now I don't have an oDesk or Guru account but I do plan on starting an account on those sites in the future. When I do start an account with those 2 sites should I use the profile wording that I have on my Elance account or should I use different wording on oDesk and Guru? |

Your services aren't so much simplified, as they are simplifying. How about something with 'simply', 'satisfyingly simpler,' or 'stress reduction' services. You are selling a concept, not just a service. How would your words make a prospective client feel? You probably want to evoke a response like, 'exactly what I need.' You may not make someone's business simpler; you want to convey that they will have an easier job. Simplifying business solutions Making business cents Taking a load off your desk Simply simpler office pro Simply perfect business solution A moment's peace at the office You need a job history - doesn't this allow you to input something with references? How about a minimum rate and a desired maximum - something that a well-established professional would charge? I would have liked to see ball park numbers if I was a prospective customer. Less abbreviation: you aren't in a chat room! Good luck! |
