Fax Numbers, Fax Marketing & Other Advertising Methods.

Question: This website wants me to fax them my ssn?

Yesterday i bought 2 phones online at walmart but today i got an e- mail saying they want me 2 fax them my SSN card front and back, also my driver's license, and a utility bill they said they will need this information before completing my credit check. Why do i need to do this? What happens if i dont fax it to them? and is this normal?

This is weired, you can go back "by person " to walmart, and see .. if that is real .. might be scam email from other parties.. Good luck and have a great day .. .

I'd just buy it in person so you can be assured its legit, something doesn't sound right

If they are cell phones and you are trying to set up service for them, then it is legitimate that they want this information. I would, however, ask them if you could complete the transaction in the store.

Hi Mario, No-one should ask you for this. Go back to Walmart and have a conversation.
