Question: How do you stop unwanted fax ads? does calling back the tollfree number work?

The call and cancel #s did not work for me. Have tried. I found 2 solutions. Put the fax on a timer and have it turn off from 10 pm to 6 am. Most junk come in the night. If I have nothing to do I some times just call the toll free # for the product sold and just tell the person I am wasting their time, just like they wasted mine reading the fax.. It did stop one company once.

If you are in the UK you can add yourself to the Fax Prefernece Service.

If you are inside the US, there are actually law firms that will collect your junk faxes and sue the companies that sent them. You can make a few bucks on them. ( The law firm gets most of the settlement. )
