Here it is: Explain selective exposure, perception, retention and the implications for ad management relating to each of these concepts.

Selective exposure is the way people choose only to immerse themselves amongst sources of information which support their position. For example, when someone on Yahoo! Answers chooses as Best Answer a response that supported or agreed with their own opinion, (irrespective of whether it was "best ") they are selectively exposing themselves. Another example is the way people choose only to read certain newspapers, depending on their political take. Selective exposure has nothing to do with deciding which clothes to remove!
