Question: I have just purchased an advertising lorry to advertise my gallery is it legal to park this on the roadside ?

My lorry is a flatbed lorry with an advertising A board on the back similar to what you see driving around town advertising it is taxed, insured, psv'd and all fully road legal, does anyone know is there anything legally stopping me from parking at the roadside apart from double yellow lines etc I would be grateful for any advise

This is between you and the Parking Attendant and maybe the residents who get annoyed because you are taking up parking space. The legal eagles would define parking, and advertising. You should study the terms and conditions of the rights you have to have an advertising board on the back of your van... If that is the sole purpose of the van. What you are asking sounds a bit 'cheeky', but not illegal, but then that's just my opinion. I'd ask my local council.

Not legal. On the basis that if it was you would get a lot more people doing it! You could easily be done for obstruction. Furthermore you are effectively conducting a business on the public highway, foe which you would need a licence/ permission. Would you be able to park a burger van on the roadside?

I think its unnecessary but if you want just ask the parking attendant about your plan it is bad for me to advertise your gallery on the roadside there's a lot of choices you want to joined to example advertisement on every site of and also in television or in radio that will be your clue my dearest friend.
